Another iNTernet trinket from Tellurian

Introduction

Tellurian dhcpdNT is part of Tellurian's range of iNTernet trinkets™. Your Microsoft Windows NT and Windows 95 computer can now perform yet another network service which traditionally is available only on "big" computers, such as those which run the Unix operating system.

Tellurian dhcpdNT is a DHCP server for Microsoft Windows NT and Windows 9x which complies with Internet RFC 2131 for DHCP discovery and also RFCs 951 and 1533 for BOOTP discovery.  It runs as a service on either Windows NT Workstation or Windows NT Server and as a stand-alone program, in a DOS box, under Windows 9x.

With Tellurian dhcpdNT, your MS Windows NT or Windows 95 computer can act be the Internet Address repository for all of your organisation's network.

Description

Tellurian is based upon Internet Software Consortium's reference source for DHCP servers.  This means that it conforms to the industry standard for this service and will support the widest range of network devices with the no surprises or confusion. Unlike some other DHCP servers, Tellurian dhcpdNT also supports the older standard, BOOTP.

View the online manual and download a free trial copy (EXE file, xKB) which runs for two hours and supports 20 leases before shutting down.

Tellurian dhcpdNT complements Tellurian tftpdNT to provide a complete network boot service for your organisation.

Windows 95 users note:

Tellurian dhcpdNT requires Winsock 2 (or later).  If you get an error "missing ws2_32.dll", please obtain a free upgrade from Microsoft's Windows Socket 2 Update webpage.
